The Project Overview

A chance message via Instagram brought Katrin and I together. Katrin wanted to begin her journey in repositioning herself as an artist, with the objective of being accepted into Collect 2024. She needed a smart, website that marketed her work, which is sought after worldwide. Her decorative pieces are intricately patterned and very collectable. Her practice encompasses wheel-thrown, hand built and sculptural earthenware pieces, all exquisitely hand painted using coloured slips and underglazes.

As a very non-technical minded creative, I found working with Studio Folk Lore to be a pleasure from start to finish. I needed a completely new website to be designed and built, and Georgie took me through the steps and stages very clearly, making sure I was happy at every turn, and showing an intuitive and deep understanding of my requirements.
